Our Team

Our Medical Director, Dr. Michael Brown has been actively involved in national and international air-medical transports for over 25 years. He is a practicing emergency physician, a senior FAA Aviation Medical Examiner as well as a commercial pilot.

His unique blend of knowledge and skills in the fields of medicine and aviation sets him apart from most other program medical directors. He has been with MedFlight One since its inception and is actively involved in the care and transport of all of our ill or injured patients. He is also closely involved in teaching aviation physiology and keeping our medical staff current.

All the patients we transport are screened by Dr. Brown so that the appropriate flight crew members and the necessary resources are assembled for each air-medical transport.

The flight crews meet or exceed all FAA requirements and receive specialized training regarding the unique needs of medical transports. We partner with leading FAA-certified and industry-accredited Air Carrier Jet Logistics, Inc., to maintain, operate and staff Medflight One aircraft.

Experienced Critical Care Flight nurses and paramedics that understand that training, quality and compassion are number one. We partner with CAMTS certified Air EMS to provide the highest quality staff 24 hours/day 365 days/year. Air EMS is accredited through the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) for fixed-wing air ambulance transport and medical escort at the Emergency Critical Care level.
