Thankfully air ambulance services are not something people need every day and we’ll gladly explain how it all works. We are available to assist you 24-hours a day, seven days a week, anytime, anywhere. When you call Medflight One, one of our flight coordinators will walk you through the medical evaluation process and explore the most cost-effective flight options for you.
- You will be asked a series of questions, so that Medflight One can provide you with the best evacuation plan and an accurate estimate of the costs.
- We will immediately contact appropriate medical personnel at the patient’s associated medical facility to obtain a brief medical report.
- We then make arrangements for ground transportation and coordinate the patient’s flight departure and arrival.
- Medflight One will provide you an all-inclusive proposal that includes a comprehensive medical evacuation plan and costs for our handling all ground transportation, air transportation and medical care.
- We will establish communication channels between the patient, the caregiver, and physicians so that the Medflight One medical team can deliver bedside-to-bedside patient transport.
- Medflight One will assist with customs and immigration requirements for international flights.
RESPONSE TIME
Once we have the information that we need to get started, we will focus on the evacuation plan. Safety comes first for us and attention to detail is a close second. We start by making sure we’re selecting the proper aircraft for the mission.

The right aircraft is only the beginning. We will also coordinate ground transportation on both ends of the journey to get you in and out of the plane safely and rapidly. We contact the medical facilities that are discharging and receiving the patient to make certain that everyone is on the same page, every step of the way. We hate surprises and our focus on constant communication helps us deliver quality every time.
